We at Continental Valuations have had the honor to have appraised some very noteworthy properties over the years. One of the most noteworthy office buildings is Toledo’s One SeaGate, building formerly known as the OI Building. Two of our more noteworthy tax appeal appraisals have involved the Belmont Country Club and the 490-room Renaissance Cleveland Hotel where we were able to help reduce their taxable value by several million dollars.
Continental regularly appraises apartment complexes, retail facilities and mixed-use facilities. Some of our appraisals have been for proposed, mixed-use facilities which combine big-box stores with several smaller stores. Often, there are outlots to consider. Other property types include medical office buildings, both existing and proposed, as well as nursing homes and hospice facilities.
At Continental we have experience with most property types across the spectrum. If, however, we do not have expertise regarding a particular property type we will immediately notify the client, and offer options. If they elect to proceed with us, we will partner with a high caliber appraiser who has experience with the type of property requiring appraisal.
